Here I will share poems and thoughts, ideas some strange, but I am made to make you think.
Musing: The Baptism That Finally Counted
I was baptized years ago, but I didn’t leave my old life behind.
I went under the water, but nothing in me had actually changed.
So in my heart, it never felt real.
This time was different.
Vox Church baptized me, but God had already rebuilt me long before I stepped into that tank.
I came to the water as a man who had already walked away from the old architecture.
Before they lowered me in, I raised the Scout salute and spoke the Scout Oath — not as nostalgia, but as covenant.
A declaration of who I am now.
What once felt like wasted years has become formation.
This baptism wasn’t emotion. It was alignment.
It counted because I finally did.
The Love of One
So many have come
Leaving us numb
Many things they say
But there's only One Way
Who is this God above
Why humans does He love
At times they seem to need
A shove
He sent many men
Some with a pen
Them, the people, did not heed
Then the One came
Who was not lame
On Him they put the blame
It was the creed
For Him to bleed
There was need
He came from above
To give a greater love
Our sins on Him were laid
The way to heaven He paved
With His dying breath
He saved us from Death
All because of
The love of one
