Heart of Ken THE Disciple
The Humanness of THE Disciple
My name is THE Disciple — not because I’m above anyone, but because I never stop learning.”
I am not a pope. I am not Jesus on earth. I am not the center of this ministry. I am a student — always.
This page exists to clarify the posture behind the name. Not elevation. Not mystique. Not status. Just humanness.
🌿 Why “THE Disciple”
Because I live in the posture of a learner. Because I follow Christ with intentionality. Because I steward what He entrusts, not what I invent. Because I point — I don’t perform.
I’m like a pointer hound: I sense the direction of the Master and freeze with clarity. I don’t chase. I don’t bark. I don’t bite. I just point — cleanly, humbly, and faithfully.
🌄 My Humanity Is Not a Weakness — It’s the Vessel
I have a body. I have a story. I have a recovery testimony. I have a job, a rhythm, a cadence.
The Spirit doesn’t bypass my humanity. He works through it.
I felt the first tug of the Spirit after saying, “I believe, I believe!” That wasn’t drama. That was relationship. That was the beginning of a journey — not a coronation.
🔥 I Grow Like Jesus Grew — In Wisdom, Stature, and Favor
Not in divinity. Not in identity. But in development.
I grow in:
wisdom
stature
favor with God
favor with people
That’s Luke 2:52. That’s the disciple’s arc. That’s my rhythm.
🧭 What I Teach Flows From What I Live
I don’t teach from elevation. I teach from experience. From recovery. From stewardship. From Springfield. From Mill Street. From the collar and the work shirt.
I canonize moments not to glorify myself — but to show how God moves through the ordinary.
🌅 So If You’re Wondering Who I Am…
